The roof truss is erected and the topping-out wreath danced in the sun. With perfect weather, HBH invited guests to the topping-out ceremony for the Townhouse Port Pieschen project on 03 November 2022. Buyers and craftsmen involved in the construction were invited. HBH Managing Director Ralf Bormann opened the event together with Project Manager John Henning. Together they reviewed the first stages of construction before the responsible roofer took the floor and followed with his topping-out speech. This is to bestow blessings on the house and thank the craftsmen and all those involved. The opening speech ended with the obligatory champagne glass toss and the glass shattered into hundreds of pieces, a good omen! Afterwards, the buyers traditionally hammered carpenter’s nails into a beam, which will later be installed in the roof.
HBH also took care of the physical well-being of the guests. A rich buffet and hot and cold drinks left nothing to be desired. Thus, the guests were able to make their way to their future homes fortified. The interest was naturally enormous. Accompanied by HBH’s expert staff, everyone was able to get a picture of the construction site and imagine themselves in their future home. Now it is time to wait, wait for the completion of the construction work. This should take place in spring 2023. The topping-out ceremony was a complete success for everyone involved. With the newly gained impressions, the buyers are now looking forward to their new home.
