REWE Team Challenge 2025. We were there!

After months of preparation, May 28 was finally here: Ready, set, go! That was the motto for us on this cloudy Wednesday. We lined up at the start of the EFW wave to represent HBH with strong running on the streets of Dresden. To achieve the best possible results, we hired Dirk “Pushman” Püschmann, an experienced running coach. He pushed us to our limits every second and motivated us to perform at our best.

Despite the mixed weather, we were highly motivated at the start—and as soon as the starting signal was given, there was no stopping us. With almost 30,000 participants, the starting field for the Rewe Team Challenge 2025 was more diverse than ever before. In various starting waves, every second counted for the athletes. The newly designed route led through the old town, past the main train station towards Lingnerallee and finally to the Rudolf Harbig Stadium. Lined by hundreds of fans and supporters, every runner was carried through the course to the finish line.

With a time of 24:03 minutes, our managing director Jens Heider ran ahead and secured the best time in the internal team competition. But all the other participants also achieved new personal bests with times between 27 and 31 minutes. This shows once again that training and hard work pay off!

Think about tomorrow today: Under this motto, preparations for the REWE Team Challenge 2026 are already underway.
